Corporate Involvement

There are many ways to get involved and collaborate with The Dream Center:

Match Your Employees’ Gifts
Organizations can double their impact when they match gifts to The Dream Center. If you already have a matching program, be sure to include The Dream Center in your list of acceptable charities. If you would like to start a matching program, please contact Chris Wilson at cwilson@dreamcenterpc.org.

Grant Funding
The Dream Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with programs and services that often fit the focus of corporate giving programs. To inquire about grant opportunities or to invite The Dream Center to submit a proposal for funding, please contact Chris Wilson at cwilson@dreamcenterpc.org

Dream Big Event Outreach Sponsorship

More businesses are discovering the advantages of sponsoring charitable causes; they are also learning how doing so can actually improve their business. The Dream Center has two annual fundraisers that depend on corporate sponsorships for success: "Soles for Souls," a 5 K race, is held in the spring;  "Dream Big" fundraising event is held in November. These events are excellent opportunities for any business to make an impact in the community, while building charitable brand awareness. A wide range of sponsorship levels are available, including donating items to the silent auction or  being the Presenting Sponsor for the event. For details about these event sponsorship opportunities, contact Chris Wilson at cwilson@dreamcenterpc.org.

Outreach Projects

The Santa Shoppe Assistance Program and the General Store are just two of the programs that rely heavily on outreach projects to operate.  The Santa Shoppe depends on the generosity of groups to donate toys, stocking stuffers, wrapping paper, socks, and underwear to serve families in need from over 40 schools in the Upstate.

The General Store is stocked with personal hygiene items, laundry detergent, toilet paper and diapers. Clients attend classes and earn Dream Dollars, which can be spent in the General Store.

Throughout the year, other items are often needed. These can be excellent opportunities for groups or families to work together to collect these items. For current needs, please contact Sarah Shupert at sshupert@dreamcenterpc.org.

Corporate Gifts-In-Kind
Donations of home furnishings, appliances and other surplus inventory are always welcomed and needed. These items help keep costs down and provide care for those in need. The Dream Center also accepts toiletries, diapers, cleaning supplies and donation of vehicles on an ongoing basis. Vehicle donations are used to allow residents of The Opportunity Village to earn a car before graduating from the year-long program.
